The Pilgrimage to the Dragon's Nest

Inspired by Huevember, I took the longwinded project of making landscape illustrations with similar colors on the color wheel. After 20h of painting, I created a fantasy setting illustration with hues from yellow to light orange.
The characters made a pilgrimage from their home to the Dragon's Nest to bring back a lost baby dragon they found. The dragons live in a remote area to protect themselves from dragon hunters. To find their nest would require to cross desert plains and then swim to rocky islands always surrounded by dragons patrolling around.
